 Torta de Cuatro Leches (4 Milk Cake)
 Ingredients:
     6 eggs   1 1/2 cup flour
     1 tablespoon baking powder  1/2 tablespoon butter
     1 cup water  2 ,1/4 cup sugar
     1 can heavy cream  1 can  evaporated milk
     1 can condensed milk   1 cup whole milk
     2 tablespoons cognac or other liquour  3 egg whites
Torta de Cuatro Leches (4 Milk Cake)
 Preparation:
1. Beat egg yolks with 3/4 cups of water until it doubles its volume, add 1/2 cup sugar and beat again. Set aside
2. Beat egg whites with less than 1/2 cup of sugar. Set aside.
3. Mix in bowl 1,1/2 cup of flour with baking powder.
4. Grease an oven dish with butter.
5. Add egg yolks and egg whites to the flour. Mix gently with a spatula. Spread mixture on the dish.
6. Bake at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
7. Meanwhile, place in blender the condensed milk, heavy cream, evaporated milk, whole milk, and cognac. Blend for 3 minutes. Pour over cake.
8. FROSTING: Mix in a bowl resistant to heat the 3 egg whites, 1,1/4 cup sugar and a little less than 1/4 cup of water. Bring to double boiler, beating constantly until sugar is dissolved. Then, beat with electric mixer until stiff peaks are formed.
9. Spread frosting on cake.


 Comments:
* The frosting can be substituted for whipped cream with sugar.
