 Pastries from mendoza
 Ingredients:
     3 1/2 cup Flour  250 gr Lard
     2 Egg yoaks  1 cup Milk
     1 tsp Salt  500 gr Jam for pastries
     1/2 cup Oil  Powdered sugar
 
 Preparation:
Place the flour in the form of a volcano on a surface for working with dough. Make a hole in the middle of the flour volcano. In that hole, place the lard, milk, yoaks and salt. Carefully mix the ingredients until you have made a ball of dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about an hour. Then, strech out the dough with a rolling pin across your working surface. Cut the streched dough into squares and place a little bit of jam in the middle of each square. Close by joining the corners of each square, wetting the tips and pinching at the top.
Heat oil in a frying pan and place pastries in few at a time. Fry the pastries by splashing oil on top so that the dough cooks. Once the pastries are done, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve.
