Dough: Make a dough mixing the Flour, Egg and 1 cup of butter. Add a little salt and water to the dough. Knead until you have made a good ball of dough, cover it with a hand towel and let it rest for about 30 min. Filling: Cook the ground beef in boiling water with salt for about 5 minutes; strain and rinse well. Chop up the 2 chives and melt the 2 Tbsp of butter in a pan. Cook the chopped chives in the pan until they become transparent. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and cook them together on high for about 5 minutes. Let cool. Empanadas: Divide the dough into 8 balls, strech them and fill them with the filling. Close the dough so that no filling can fall out. Glaze the empanadas with a little bit of melted butter and place them in the oven on Medium for about 15 to 20 min. |
