Rice and Cheese Pie
Ingredients:
    
350 grs. rice
 
250 grs. Gruyere cheese
    
4 eggs
 
3/4 cups light cream
    
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
 
1 cup tomato sauce
    
1 tablespoon butter
 
salt
    
ground pepper
 
Preparation:
1. Cook the rice in plenty of water with salt, for approximately 15 minutes. Strain the rice, rinse with cold water and set aside in the strainer.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl until they are foamy. Add salt, pepper, the grated cheese and the cream.
3. Mix, add the rice and stir well.
4. Grease with butter a round, easy to disassemble baking pan.
5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, and pour the rice mixture.
6. Use a spoon to spread the mixture evenly, and take to preheated oven (on medium), for 30 minutes, or until the pie is firm.
7. Heat the tomato sauce and place it in a saucer. Remove the pie from baking pan, and serve with the tomato sauce.
