Thai Chicken and Basil | Ingredients: |      | 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast |   | 2 cups vegetables |      | 1 small yellow onion |   | 4 cloves fresh garlic |      | 3 fresh hot pepper (opt) |   | 3 tablespoons cooking oil |      | 1/2 cup water |   | 1 tablespoon oyster sauce |      | 2 tablespoons fish sauce |   | 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce or thai holy basil |

Preparation: |
Cut up the chicken in small thin slices. Cut up vegetables like mushrooms, green beans, red and green peppers or whatever is lying around. Peel and slice lengthwise the onion. Chop the green onions. Peel and chop the garlic. For the sauce mix the water, the hoyster sauce, the fish sauce and the sweet soy sauce or thai holy basil. In a sauce pan stir fry the garlic in hot oil. Add the chicken and stir fry it until turns white. It will cook more after you add the vegetables so do not over cook. Add all the vegetables except the basil and the hot pepper. Then add the sauce you prepared and cook everything until is done. Add the basil and the hot peppers (optional)and cook for one more minute. |
