1 1/2 kg chicken
5 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon thyme
100 g fresh sausage
1 large onion
4 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 cups broth
1 bay leaf
1 cup canned peas
salt to taste
ground pepper to taste
1- Cut the chicken into pieces, wash and put them in a bowl.
2- Prepare a marinade with 3 tablespoons of oil, lemon juice, thyme powder, salt
and pepper, sprinkle over chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
3- Meanwhile, heat the remaining oil in a pan at heat and brown the sausages cut
into thick slices.
4- Add the onion rings and diced carrot, and saute until golden brown.
5- Add peeled and chopped tomato and tomato sauce, stir everything with a wooden
spoon and add the broth, thyme sprig and bay leaf.
6- Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
7- Add the chicken and cook over low heat until tender.
8- When the chicken is almost done, add the drained peas and finish cooking.
9- Serve with fried potatoes or to taste.
