 Cloud Biscuits
 Ingredients:
     2 cups Flour, sifted  1 TBSP Sugar
     4 tsp Baking Powder  1/2 tsp Salt
     1/2 cup Shortening  1 Egg, beaten
     2/3 cup Milk  
 
 Preparation:
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening till mixture
resembles coarse crums.

Combine egg and milk. Add to flour mixture all at once. Stir till dough
follows mixture of for fork around bowl.

Chill 1-3 hrs., if possible.
Turn out on lightly floured surface. Knead with heel of hand -- 20
strokes.

Roll dough to 3/4" thickness. Cut out biscuits with a glass or cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 450*, 10-14 minutes till golden
brown. Makes 2 dozen.
